Tide tables - highest tide of the day

Hi,


I have a tide table of the daily water flow in a river during various periods of the day, maybe 3, 4 or 5 observations a day for a particular month. I want to automatically find the high tide for the day and find the total number of days in a month that have tides above 5 meters and between 4 and 5 meters etc. I have attached the link for the excel sheet below for your reference.

Where do you want to put the daily data and monthly data?

The data is arranged as follows:

and so on for every day of every month.

The high tide will be =Max(Range)

eg: for Day 1 =Max(c2:c5) etc


I'd suggest you add another column for each day for teh daily totals and then put totals for each month below them
