My name is Bill, I'm have been using Excel for a while but still learning and I have a quick question that I really have no idea how to express it properly but here goes. Is there a function (maybe like v-lookup) where descriptors can be separated into separate fields based on certain criteria after the function runs? I have seen this done, but have no idea what it is called. I hope I am making some sense. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance
