Reference the cell next to the active cell on the right

Hello,
How can I reference the cell to the right of the active cell? I would like excel to send and email when a specific cell changes value, this I already have, but I also want the to: section of the email to be filled with the email address. For example if R1 is the active cell S1 contains the email Address. How do I reference S1?
