Recommender system in VBA

Hi, am trying to create a recommender system in Excel with VBA.

If anyone has experience with recommender systems please help me to create this.

I am thinking of a recommender system just like Amazon recommends "Your recently viewed items and featured recommendations".

Thought :

Use 'Fuzzy Search' as a means of finding other items similar to what the customer is viewing.

The 'Recently Viewed Items' will require that you create a database to store the items the customer has searched for. Based on the customer's ID, or perhaps a 'cookie' you store on their system, you will be able to identify the customer and present the past items they viewed.

You will need someone more experienced than I to assist with the actual programming.
