Hi,
Thank you very much for all your help so far. This forum managed to solve all my Excels issues.
I'm here to ask for your help one more time. In the attached file I show what I'm trying to accomplish: a real-time line-counter for actors. In column B I have the list of actors, in column C the number of lines for each character. Currently, when I need to find out how many lines let's say actor Sergio L. has, I filter column B by Sergio L. and I sum the visible values in column C, and I repeat the procedure for all actors. Is there a faster way that sums in real-time this calculation, so that every time I assign an actor in column B, his/her total number of lines is updated in column E? The intended result is shown in column D and E.
