Random picking of cell in data validation list

Again I stuck. I want to use data validation list of some cell which are not consecutive like a1, a3, a6. and I want to make the drop down list of these cell. but data validation only picks consecutive list like a1:a6. any solution?

Hi,
Data validation does not work non contiguous cells.

A work around is to use helper column, say column B
enter in cell B1 =A1
in B2 =A3
in B3 =A6, and then use Data Validation > List > B1:B3
