Price sheet if, then question

I am trying to fix a price sheet based on the cost of an item. For items costing me 0.01 to 25.00 I want to charge 40% gross profit, which has a multiplier of 1.6666,for items 25.01 to 50.00 a 36% gross profit, multiplier is 1.5625, and above 50.01 a multiplier of 1.4925. I would like to be able to enter the cost,and have Excel calculate the price. Thanks so much in advance for any help. Lesa

Thank you so much Fred!! My only question is how I assign the cell to be "cost"? For instance, I have column A set to where I enter the actual cost, and Column B would have the formula you sent me. I need to enter multiple costs each day. Thanks again.

change cost to A:A on the forumla.


then copy the formula down.
