PowerPivot Custom Sort not working

Hi All,
Trying to get a PowerPivot table to sort on a custom series.

• The PPT is setup to allow I have setup under PPT options / Totals & Filters to "Use Custom Lists when sorting".
• Going through the menus and what I would do with a regular pivot table is not working. See images.

Does anyone have experience with this and have a suggested solution?

I am using O365/64bit Version 2002 Build 12527.21912

You can define a custom sort order inside the data model.

I hope region is a dimension/lookup table. Then add a column ("rank"), in the source table, in which you define the sort order (numerical value). Then select the region column and sort by the new "rank" column.
