Possible to Append Multiple Excel linked files to Access

Hi,

Pls Suggest its is Possible to append multiple excel linked files to one table in access from different users.

Users linked their Excel file in "Access file located in Common shared path".

Thanks
Jawahar

You cannot. Each Excel file can be linked to separate tables in Access. You may try to append each of the tables to a "Master Table" with a series of update queries. A caveat, however, you will need to clear the contents of the "Master" each time before running the update queries otherwise the data may be duplicated with each update. I have never done this, but logically, it seems to be a way for this to happen. The issue is that you will not have immediate access to current data as that will not happen until the update takes place.
