Pivot Tables--Aggregating Months

Hello, I have a large table that I convert to a Pivot Table every month. The Pivot Table lists data for every day but I want to aggregate by the month. This would dramatically reduce the number of rows.

Where is the setting to do this? I have attached a small sample of the file.

Without XL for the moment. Normally select the date, right mouse click and select group in the context menu. In the pop-up select months. Confirm with ok. Try it.

Yes, that works. I also needed the year for SUMIF formulas to pick up, so I added another Activity Date column and then time grouped it by year. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the feedback. Glad I could help with a simple solution.
Fyi, you can select multiple groupings (year, quarter, month) at once. You would then have a cascading view.

I tried that cascading view. It works the same as above but it's easier. Thanks!
