Pivot chart filter using another work sheet

Depends on Excel version and how you constructed your pivot table/chart.

If using Excel 2010 or later, I'd recommend using data relationship to use separate (but related) list as slicer source.

I don't currently have a file to share with but I have document with 25000 rows of transaction to various customer and various items at my office. I have around 2000 items and 200 customers. I made the pivot chart which gives me total no of each items and its price supplied to each customer. Now I need to review some of the items which I have list. The filter in the pivot table works, but one at a time. I have list of 20 items as separate worksheet. How do i filter those items alone from the pivot table.

I found an option in advance filter which allows filter multiple data provided in column of a worksheet
