Pic Formula

Hi Ladies and Gentleman

Not sure why the Index/Match formula isn't working on sheet 3 as it is on sheet 2. Can you check it out for me and tell me what I did wrong?

Also, can I put in a diamond chart reflecting the position of the chosen player in sheets 2 and 3. Thank you as always. Joe.

Hi,

Sheet3!A2=INDEX('Pic2'!$B$1:$C$12,MATCH(Sheet3!$A$2,'Pic2'!$A$1:$A$12,0))

The bold part indicates what's wrong you are doing here.

You are refring the same cell that is circular ref & not possible in excel.
So, In order to get the result you need to change the one of them.

Will someone loop for chart soon!!!

@Joeman187

See the attached file, to pull image you need to put the formula in name manger as I had done. See Pic_2 formula. Also can you explain what did you mean by diamond chart.

Regards,

Sweet thank you Somendra, I was hoping to put like a baseball diagram in the lower part of the vlookup to reflect where each player was positioned at. Maybe when you choose J.D. Martinez it will say Martinez in left field area. Or when choose a pitcher it will say his name in the pitcher area. Not sure if it can do that. Thanks again.
