Number appears unreadable and last digit becomes zero

Hi to all,
This is my first post the the forum.
Whenever i copy a data from a webpage and paste it in Excel,Account number (which is 16 digit) appears as 1.949E+15 and last digit of account number becomes zero.

Please assist how to fix the issue.

Hi,

Right click on the column, format cell and select numbers, hope this solves your problem.

Yes it solved my 1 problem.
Another issue is that last digit of all account numbers becomes zero (correct a/c no is 1949104000016575,1949104000020772 etc)
How to solve this.
 
Hi,

If you enter a number that has 16 digits or more, Excel changes those extra digits to zero. A workaround is to use Text Format for cells, so that the numbers after 15 digits not changed to zero.
