Need some help on payroll

Hi Chandoo Experts,
One of your colleagues had helped me out on this issue earlier but I still need some advice. On my payroll dashboard, I am trying to get the results for the individual and dates from a drop down list into the different categories. The results are derived from the employee summary tab. I've tried the index/match/match function and can't get the appropriate results. Can you help me on which formula to use to get it right? Thanks, Joe from Michigan

Thanks for responding back. I think that is what I am looking for. But how do I update the dashboard when I put more names on the employee dashboard? When I change the range it doesn't update.
