Hi,
I am new to this forum and to excel too.
I need to create a timetracking sheet for my employees
List of things that i should track

1)Their Log in time and log out time
2)Name of the task and start and end time of the task
3)Need a way to calculate idle time so that i could focus on productivity time.

The reason i need it in macros is ,so that my guys can't be able to tweak the excel.
Thanks in Advance!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes ... something like this sample
1) Have to know Their names ...
2) Then somewhere have to be list of tasks...
3) Hmm? You really would like to ask someone to 'mark' then they start break and continue working ... how many idle time task do You need?
or ... then they start to do something > click >> then they stop to do it > click again - same button!
In macros ... if Your guys can write and read ... maybe then those could tweak the Excel too.

Thanks Man,
Thanks for the quick response.
I will attach you the list of tasks that needs to be entered.
Every employee has to have this file ,so that they can enter it on daily basis and it should have a dashboard consolidating the total work hours.
These are the list of tasks I need to be entered.
first, there should be a date column then the task can be in data validation
1)Login Time
2)Training Session
3)Stock Auditing
4)Documentation
5)Lunch Break
6)Tea Break
7)Lab utilization
9)System Utilization
8)Logout Time

start time and end time should be mentioned for each tasks they are selecting
