Guys I just joined this forum and gone through the posts. It s really amazing and useful for all excel learner's.

I need now a macro for allocation of cases to the team.

    1. Each user should get a individual spreadsheet of his/her cases
    2. I have a specific column named "rate" which should not be allocated at the beginning so it should moved to a specific sheet in the workbook. A separate button should be available to distribute this data.
    3. Cases should be assigned equally and a field is required to manually input the available of users daily so the macro allocated equally aaciding to that.

Can anyone please help me to do this !!!

    Hi Thanks for the reply.

Please find the attached sample format.

    1. When I click assign button, it should allocate all cases except the one that has card in the row.
    2. When I click card split the rows that has column should be moved to a separate sheet in the same work book
    3. Atlast when I click card assign batches should get assign to the users.

All this should happen on FiFO basis. Each case will have date and time so we have visibility.

Entire assigning status should be visible in the main page.

Let me know if u have still any doubts.

I really appreciate and thankful if u can get me this done..

All this should happen on FiFO basis.
... and all should know what would mean 'on FIFO basis' or how?
    Are all other 'terms' clear?

FIFO is first in first out. Alloxation should happen basis on the entry date and time. (In ascending order).

I will copy the data every 1 hour and if there are cases already allocated should be shown as duplicates and those cases should not be allocated again...

You use terms 'Urgent' & 'saves time'.
Can I even eat or do something else?
I already asked 'Are all other 'terms' clear?'
I hope that You have checked those
... if there are, then all those would take time ... others time!

    'Terms'
    1. Each user should get a individual spreadsheet of his/her cases - hmm?
    2. I have a specific column named "rate" ... where?

    1. When I click assign button, it should ...
You should write what to do ... not what no need!
    2. When I click card split the rows that has column should be moved to a separate sheet in the same work book ... where?
    3. Atlast when I click card assign batches should get assign to the users.
    ... hmm?

FIFO ... Yes ... that's not FIFA ... but do You have any idea which one would be IN and which OUT ... hmm ... there are 'totally' five Entry Times!

With You writings ... do You have image that someone else would figure what?
You should try to recheck Your texts ...
So far, this seems for me like,
    You've have thought something (1),
    You've written something (2),
but something (1) don't match with something (2)!
If now someone would guess something (2) that won't be something (1)!

    ... and that's not good - Okay?

Do You still would You use terms 'Urgent' & 'saves time'?

    'Terms'
    1. Each user should get a individual spreadsheet of his/her cases - hmm? The individual spreadsheet can be saved in a specific folder in a share drive
    2. I have a specific column named "rate" ... where? If u look at the data sheet in my Excel u will see a column which has "card" and " specific"

    1. When I click assign button, it should ...
You should write what to do ... not what no need!
Each cases should be allocated to the users that is what I meant !!!

    2. When I click card split the rows that has column should be moved to a separate sheet in the same work book ... where? The data which contains only card should be moved to a spreadsheet
    3. Atlast when I click card assign batches should get assign to the users.
    ... hmm?

FIFO ... Yes ... that's not FIFA ... but do You have any idea which one would be IN and which OUT ... hmm ... there are 'totally' five Entry Times! - if u check the timing and date we can sort in ascending order...

    'Terms'
    1. Each ... if You write something then that would be find from those Your sample files ... or those would be misinformation.
    2. hmm ... a specific column named "rate" ... yes, yes
... no! ... of course, there are even two same letters!
    Should others guess as above?

    1. There are five rows data ...
    2. Yes .. all should keep in same file ... it not wise to move anywhere if don't know exact next position.

FIFO ... okay ... my opinion is that those are all OUT,
then FIFO ... hmm? nobody have IN then 'mission challenge!'

Do I have time to dig all needed details or
    should I guess everything?
... and You need something urgent ... ouch!

    What do You think?

See I agree I use the term urgent but u are still pin pointing in that..

I gave all requirements and details. The allocation should happen evenly and in ascending order that's why we have case entry date and time..

Please let me know if u require any other details...

    Guess
... with Your information, I should guess almost everything!

    Understand
... I've noticed that You haven't, because no proper answers.

Is there anything still not clear?
... It would be shorter list to write details which are clear.

    a macro for Allocation
    ... https://chandoo.org/forum/threads/allocating-work-based-on-sum-of-numbers.26299/
    ... oops!
... I notice that You have added Your this case in the end of that case!

    >> You would reread:
    https://chandoo.org/forum/threads/site-rules-new-users-please-read.294/
I hope that You would understand those and follow those rules!

    The last time:
    1) With those texts, I cannot do anything which would help You.
You should tell needed proper information.
    I won't start digging those!
If You have clear image of Your case ... then do it!

    2) Reread that my latest link; eg crossposting!

    Hi,
When you click the "Assigned" button you need to let us know what the code first "Looks" and and then define where the the selection is to go.
Perhaps you can provide a file for the "Selected" item and the show where it goes.
    Just a 2 cent question.
