Listing Conditional Formatting Rules for worksheet

Hi! I'm a first timer, so pls bear with me. I use Conditional Formatting to shade unnecessary cells in a column based on the value of one cell in that column. I am having problems trying to add new ranges of cells to those already formatted by a Rule. A Rule is used for a whole row of data. The Rules Manager has limited space to show cells formatted and so shows only small portion even when 'editing'. Is there a way to create a list of Rules (I have several rules applying to one column) showing both Formula used and cells involved? Any help will be appreciated!

In Excel 2007, you can use the Conditional Formatting Rules Manager to display rules

access from Home Tab, Conditional Formatting, Manage Rules

A drop down at the top allows you to select what rules to display, Current Selection , Current Sheet or other sheets.

You could break your area up into different areas by selection and go through each area using this.
