List of activities by date

I have a set of deadline data ordered thus;


A:A has the project number

B:B has a description of the event

C:C has the target finish date

D:D has the actual finish

E:E and F:F have the department which has to complete the milestone with E:E and F:F having different headers and different activities (NB each row has either an entry in E:E OR F:F but not both)


Ideally I'd like to produce a grid by department with a list of deadlines for each day (along a row). I can't think of a way to do this so any ideas would be greatly received

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do.


Although it sounds like you could get cute with a pivot table.

If the Department is in Col E and Activity is in Col F and they don't both contain an entry how can you link them ?
