Large Operation Error

Hi I have an Excel file which was first created in Office 2003 and had macros and then is now in .xlsm format in 2007. Whenever I try to delete or insert a row or column I get this 'Large Operation Error' and it says "The operation

you are about to perform affects a large number of cells and may take a

significant amount of time to complete. Are you sure you want to continue?" and I'm unable to do anything

I have removed all the macros and tried saving it in .xlxs but I'm unable to do so. Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Asif

I've never seen this but try the following in Excel

Try opening the file (try both the Original 2003 and 2007 Files) as follows

Close all other applications except Excel

In Excel

goto File, Open

Browse to find the file

Select the file and click on the Small Down Arrow next to Open

Select Open and Repair

also have a look at

I wasn't able to repair the sheet properly. I also tried to make the calculations manual but still wasn't of any help.

I'm now creating a new file :(

Anyway thanks for your help Hui
