I want the data from Column A to end up in Column B before the word "Metric"

Can someone help me with a formula, I have 3200 rows

In a spare Column say D1:
=SUBSTITUTE(B1," Metric", A1& " Metric",1)
Copy D1 down
Copy Column D and paste as Values over Column B
