How to run MS Excel permanently as "Run as Administrator"?

Dear All Excel Experts,

Recently i have installed Windows 10 operating system and MS Office 2013. I want to permanently set MS Excel as "Run as administrator". To do this process i clicked Start -> Excel 2013 -> With the right mouse -> Open file location -> Excel 2013 -> Shortcut -> Advanced -> Advanced Properties -> In this i'm not able to click on the "Run as Administrator Option since its disabled. How to solve the issue.

If it's disabled, then you need to speak with your IT/Network admin.
It is likely that you don't have the elevated access level to complete the operation.

But is there specific reason that you need to run Excel as admin? I can't think of a situation where you'd need administrator access to Excel.

Follow the steps to permanently set excel to run as administrator:
  • Open Start.
  • Search for excel.
  • Right-click the top result, and select Open file location.
  • Right-click the app shortcut and select Properties.
  • Click on the Shortcut tab.
  • Click the Advanced button.
  • Check the Run as administrator option.
  • Click the OK button.
  • Click the Apply button.
  • Click the OK button.
