How to remove unwanted files?

Hi All,


Every timne when I open a new workbook, there are 4 files that open and I want to disable them. Those files are (ATPVBAEN.XLAM, EUROTOOL.XLAM, SOLVER.XLAM & FUNCRES.XLAM).


I have checked the XLStartup path and only Personal.xlsb is there.


Plz help to remove unwanted files.

If you disable these files you will have some difficulty in running many parts of Excel
 
Hi DJ ,


If you really want to disable these ( these are all add-ins , by the way , not unwanted files ) , click on the OFFICE button in the top left hand corner , and then click on Excel Options.


Click on Add-Ins ; Click on the Go button next to the Manage Excel Add-Ins in the right side window.


Uncheck the add-ins you do not want to load at start time.

Thank you for the help. However, as Bobhc said that there will be some difficulty in running many parts of excel, kindly explain what kind of difficulty.


I just don't want to see these files in my code window. This is because, whenever I close the excel window it ask 4 times to close(for every file) which is very irritating.
