How to remove password from VBA file 2010?

Hello Everyone,

I Have a Excel 2010 file in which is VBA code is password protected. Is there any way to crack VBA password as I am unable to View the code ?

I can'nt share file or download any software as this an office internal use only.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

After 2007, security got a "little" bit better than in 2003. Before, it was pretty easy with a Hex Editor. With the newer versions, I've had hit and miss success. You could try doing some internet searches for "Excel VBA 2007 password hex editor" to see some potential guides. Of course, if you don't already have a Hex Editor on your office machine, the point may be moot.

Any chance of contacting the original author, or is this a forgotten password?

I am not allowed to download any software neither i can send the file outside to my personal MailID :(
The Person who created this Macro left the organisation.

What is the Windiff is that a software or its preinstalled application. if Preinstalled where can i find it (path), I am using Windows XP.

It's a component of Windows, just press the Start button (if you don't have Win 8, the cousin of Win Me & Win Vista) and type Windiff in the search text box.
