I am using a Data Validation list to choose a 'unique name' from the DV drop-down list.
Column A contains 2000 names.
Column B contians the DV_List based on Col A.
But since its quite a long list it becomes difficult to find a 'unique' name or value that I'm looking for.
Here's the problem……
Sometimes, FirstNames are common. Or, sometimes LastNames are common.
But each name is 'unique'
So I need a 'new' drop-down list that can narrow down my search……
What Excel formula must be used in DV (Source) to make only the name that I'm looking for appear in the drop-down.
