how to highlight a range using a function/formula

I tried conditional formating but it is not highlighting the range it is just highlighting a cell.

Excel Formulas do not highlight Ranges per se. People tend to do that. The language behind XL has the ability to highlight a range but there is very little need to highlight anything with vb. Can you explain your problem more fully and perhaps provide a sample file?

Good day moizs


If you highlight your range and then click in the name box give it a name that has some meaning then when you need to use the the range just click on the name in the name box, you could use the name in a function/formula
