Dears,

I have attached an image illustrating the values assigned to each character and the flow chart depicting the summation process based on the directional arrows.

To calculate the total values of the characters D and F in Excel, you can use the following equations:
  1. Total value of character D:
    New value of D character = (Value of A + Value of B + Value of C) + Value of D character
  2. Total value of character F:
New value of F character = New value of D character + Value of F character
I need the excel equation which can help me to get the total values of characters D and F based on the provided values and flow chart.

Can You sort data?
or
one other sample?
Great effort! However, your formula seems suitable for small-scale data.
What approach would you recommend for handling extensive datasets, like the one attached, which illustrates the values assigned to each character in columns 1 and 2, with columns 4 and 5 depicting the summation process based on the direction from column 4 to column 5 ?
Could you suggest a formula for calculating the total values for each character based on the provided values, with the results appearing in column 8 ?

If Your sample data gives an image of that size then my sample would work with that size of cases.
... others ... sample could be different.
Your above case is totally different than Your original.
Normally You should open a new thread for new case.
It would be better to have some expected result there.
I tried to figure - what do You expect to get?
... something like this?

Thank you for your support. Unfortunately, the last formula didn't meet my target. I believe I should start a new thread to address this issue and provide more detailed explanations.

It worked as You've written ... but it seems to work different way than You've thought.
... You missed few minor details, which 'opens' Your needs.
I'll close this thread.
