Hi Forum,

Answer will be shared on 22/7 as chandoo's system's default setting is in dd/m format... not m.dd

By the way..
just for hint..
(10 - 19 = -9)
(20 - 29 = -9)
(30 - 39 = -9)
(40 - 49 = -9)
(50 - 59 = -9)

and as per my system setting AGE cant be -VE.

and final clue.. a Robots are not as old as time.. robots are introduced in late 1920's ..

and above all are option button. one you have to choose to proceed...
Keep guessing

history...

Ancient Egypt:
pi=3.1605

Babylone:
pi=3

China:
pi=3.1447, pi=3.10, pi=3.14

V century BC, astronomer Tsu Ch'ung -----> pi=355/113=3.14151929

In Occident we have to wait 1000 years to reach that level.

Europe:
Archimedes: 3 + 10/71 < pi < 3 + 1/7
XVII century, Lambert & Legendre demonstrated that pi isn't a rational number
In 1593 Dutch mathematician and military architect Van Clenen determinated 20 and then 35 decimals (was the 1st to outperform Kashi Central Asia mathematician)

Middle East:
XV century Arabs obtained 17 decimals through polygons inscribed in a circumference
1st half of XiV century Kashi came with a 3072 sides polygon

Hi, b(ut)ob(ut)hc!
It was all in a single page that I was sent today, so copy & paste.
Regards!
PS: But your blind guess is right, much more than what I'd like to have.

So finally @Luke M came up with this poll. :) All I can say on basis of @SirJB7 declaration few days back ;) his age canot be tell in normal condtion. We have to do CARBON DATING of his body, than only we can come to a conclusion how old is he :) ;) But as per my guess he will be 1/5 of half life of C14 (isotope of Carbon).

:) :) :)

Regards,

Thanks everyone who participated, the fun facts about pi, and the comments about sleepless nights. Yes, the little guy has been making me feel older, but I still love him very much.

SPOILER (highlight to read)
I am 28 years old. I joined this forum when I was 25.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

Hi Luke,
Congratulations on becoming a dad! (I somehow missed your original post on the subject!) Even with all of the sleepless nights (and I can relate since my son is now 17 months old), it is an absolutely joyful experience! Enjoy!

Regarding your age, based on your "profile picture", I would have guessed your age to be no more than the teens!! :) Happy belated birthday!!

-Sajan.
