I am using Excel 2010. I have a graph that is reading data from another tab. I have some hidden columns in the data tab, yet they show up on the graph. The data tab cells have formulas. I thought this was a simple request yet I cannot find a solution that works. I have looked in the chart settings, but cannot find anything. The only thing that seems to work is if I add NA() to each formula. It sounds crazy that I have to go through all that instead of just hiding the column. Any other thought or ideas?
I have also tried toggling the "Show data in hidden rows and columns" under Chart tools> Design. The checkbox is unchecked.
