I would like to see in my below question which would be the best formula/tool to use for this scenario.
I'm a manager for a grocery store and I keep track of my employees by how fast they can put product on shelves. I do this by timing them against how much product (pieces) they have in their assigned aisle, giving them a Pieces/Hr number.
Let's say I have "Employee A" and they have a target Piece/Hr of 70 but their number is 62. I give them a base Piece/Hr of 65 to help them reach that target. How many recorded days will it take for them to reach that target? I also understand it will depend on how many numbers (records) are involved. I.e. 70 could be reached much quicker at a base # of 65 with them only having 5 prior records vs. 300 records.
Just wondering what would be the best approach...Goal seek, what if analysis, or forecast? Or...?
Thanks much!
