forum vs newsletter

Hi, just wondering if there is any relationship between the sign-ups for the forum and the newsletter. I obviously have a forum account, and now want to sign up for the newsletter, and was wondering if I should use the same email or if it is OK to use a different one.
(I have a few email accounts for different purposes).

There's no direct relation between the two, so feel free to use two different ones.
