Formula for Text Reference

I have a file for work and I'm no pro at excel.

I need help with a formula for the following please!!

A1=Text field
B1= Date Field
C1= Date Field

I need it to function as follows:

If A1=ABC then the date field in C1 will be 30 days further out than B1.
If A1=ABCD then the date field in C1 will be 14 days further out than B1.

I hope this is making sense because I'm confused as to what to do. Currently, A1 and C1 function separately.
The current forumla in C1 is =IF(B1<>"",B1+30,"")

=IF(A1="ABC",B1+30,IF(A1="ABCD",B1+14,""))
