Format styles disappear upon refreshing the pivot table

Team,

I have formatted a pivot table (color fill, bold, text aligment etc ) but whenever I refresh the pivot table, the formatted styles disappears and the table gets back to its default look which is very annoying

I have checked the "Preserve the format on update" in the pivot table options but still the format doesnt stick

Can someone please let me know how to apply a format on pivot table which shouldnt change up on refreshing?

Regards,

Raja

Hi Raja Kamarthi,

This is working with Excel 2007.

When you create a pivot table, select it, go to Design and create a New Pivot Table Style. Here you will find option to change the style of text eg. italic or bold or both and fill for cells. Create and apply this template and it is done.
