Finding independent cells linked more than once

Hi ,

Your question is not clear to me.

How we determine this ?
which Independent cells in adjacent sheet linked more than once with dependent Cells?
Do you mean that if any cell in column C in the tab named Dependent cells has a formula where there is an addition of 2 or more cells in the tab named Independent Cells , then it is linked more than once ?

Narayan

Maybe,

In "Dependent cells Sheet" D2, formula copied down :

=IF(ISERROR(MATCH(C2,'Independent Cells'!B$2:B$18,0)),"linked more than once","")

Yes Narayan, You guessed it right. Sorry for responding late.

Can you pls solve this?

Regards,

Pradeep
Hi ,

It is still not clear what the wording "Linked more than once" means.

If you can work out a few examples , it would help.

C4 in the Dependent cells tab has the following formula :

='Independent Cells'!B5+'Independent Cells'!B2

Does this mean that B5 and B2 in the Independent Cells tab are linked more than once ?

C11 and C14 in the Dependent cells tab have the following formula :

='Independent Cells'!B16

Does this mean that B16 in the Independent Cells tab is linked more than once ?
