Extracting DATA

OK so for some reason Walmart.com has no way to export you receipts to a CSV, or anything for that matter, at least not that I'm aware of. I had a sheet that used to clean up my receipts, but I never really understood the formulas, and now it got messed up and I don't know how to fix it. Attached is the sheet I just deleted all the formulas cause I thought I'd start from scratch so I could understand them, but I'm at a loss here, can anyone help? As you could see in the attached sheet the 1st column is the raw data from the receipt copy/pasted from the website, the next 2 columns are the cleaned up DATA, i want to be able to just paste the raw DATA and gave it automatically clean up said DATA so then I could paste it on the second TAB.

Hi Luigi802

This is the perfect opportunity to start using Power Query or Get and Transform.
I've noticed you need the date in the result, but I did not see it in the raw data, so I assume you add it manually.

Attached you can find your workbook with a PQ solution.
So you can add data below the raw data and then press refresh on the green PQ table. It should work if you have version 2016. Let me know if you use an older version.

The dates entered manually in this table should remain present after the update. But you should still check if they do not move from the correct line.

I hope this solves your issue.
Cheers
Guido

It is common practice and good manners to inform members when you are cross posting, this is to save them wasting their time trying to help when you have others on outside forums working away for you.
If you do get an answer on another forum you should inform members so that they can see the result and use it if they have a similar problem.
This is explained in the forum rules which take less time to read than it does to cross post.
