Excel Percentages

Hello I have to update a price list by adding columns to show the price increase by % from 1 - 5%. I have added the percentage and done the =%+Current price. This is ok on 0.37 data but once the value increases to say 2.14 or 1260.00 it gives me an incorrect figure for example my sheet is currently telling me the 2.14 plus 5% is £2.19 where as it should be more like £2.25. Anyone any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

hi Jean ......
You can Use This Formula
Code:
=$A2+($A2*B$1)
I think this is the simplest equation that can be used
