dropdown lists

Hi all,

This is about dropdown lists to be used in dashboards.

I have three dropdown lists ( class, name, period )

class list shows ( 6, 7, 8 , 9 )

I want the names list to display the names of class 6 when I choose 6 from the class list, and so on for classes 7 , 8 and 9 so that I can choose a name from that certain class.

Then I want to choose the period list which displays (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th )

When I do these choices, I want to display marks in A5:J5; the marks that correspond to that certain name in that certain class in that certain period.

I hope this is clear enough to have help.

You'll be able to apply a similar technique by matching specific criteria and then using that "match" to get the correct values to return. Give it a shot, and feel free to ask more questions if you run into trouble. There's no info on what the overall layout of your data looks like, so I couldn't give an example.
