Drop down calendar

Respected Sirs,

We have a request form where the request date requires a drop down calendar. We inserted a date picker from active x controls and linked to cell H3 in the attached file.

We are facing a problem whenever the workbook is opened, the date picker does no work, until we vertical scroll bar is moved up or down.

Kindly guide on how to make the date picker work whenever the file is reopened without moving the vertical scroll bar.

Thank you very much for your guidance on this query.

I enabled the check box, but after reopening the file, the date picker does not work until you move the scroll bar or move to another sheet.

I am not able to make out where I am going wrong,

FYI - I'd advise against use of DatePicker. For version compatibility and other issues.

Why not try custom date picker from link?

Or other forms of adding the functionality (such as code to fill dropdown, formula approach using data validation etc).
