Hi all,

Using Excel 2007

I charted some values that are a mix of positive and negatives over a span of six years

The X-Axis seeme to be displayed in about the middle of the chart with a label ever third tick mark (04, 07, 10 for years)

I would prefer to display the X-Axis at the bottom of the chart area

I have tried several option but cannot seem to make it happen

-Overlaid a second chart with all items transparent except X-Axis labels.

-Added second series to the original chart

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Right click the vertical axis

Format Axis

Right Axis crosses at

Set to Axis Value and type in the Minimum value

Thanks Hui

I ended up having to enter the min manually to force the X Axis to the bottom of the chart area

Is there an option in Excel 2007 so that I can still auto scale yet force the X Axis to the bottom of the chart area? VBA Option perhaps?

Thanks

Winston
