Disappearing words in an excel cell

Hello excel experts, is there a way to write instructional words in an excel cell; which disappear when I click on the cell? Thanks

Anyway with VBA, there will be a way to do something like that.

Without VBA, I think the answer is no. There is a trick that might suffice though.

If you type your instructions, using appropriately formatted text, in one column and then reduce the column width to 2pts it will spill over adjacent blank cells. Type any content into the cell and the instructions vanish.
