Dear can we set custom grouping in pivot. Let say i have count of transactions between 1 to 2,000,000 nd i want to set range that how manty transaction falls in 1 to 9999 then 10000 to 19999 then 20000 to 49999 then 50000 to 99999 then 100000 to 149999 then 150000 to 249999 then 250000 to 499999 then 500000 to 2000000. Appreciate your help.

Hi ,

Please upload your workbook with the data and the pivot table in it.

The process of grouping is manual , and requires the user to select the data which needs to be grouped. It does not matter whether the range increment is fixed or variable.

Typically, easiest method to add grouping (variable range) to pivot table is to add helper column to source data.

This can be easily set up in PowerQuery or done on regular Excel Range.

While this could be done in DAX data model. I wouldn't recommend doing so.
