Hi all,

I have a pivot table having the values in crores and lakhs.

I want to display the value in lakhs.

ex :
4,77,49,320
as 4.77 cr (OR) 477.49 LAKHS

I HAVE TRIED WITH THE CUSTOM FORMATS AVAILABLE.

FINALLY I FOUND A FORMAT..
0.##,,," Crore" %

But the values are displaying as
4.77 Cr%

how to remove the % symbol

kindly help in this regards

Hi ,

I am not sure that what you want done is possible.

It is the presence of the % symbol which is enabling the value to be displayed as 4.77 ; since it is only a part of the format , and not a part of the cell contents , it is not even possible to mask it using CF or VBA.

If you use the format 0.##,,," Crore" %
in the custom Number format dialog, type a Ctrl+J character in front of the %

Just remember that the cell may display 4.77 which is actually 0.0477
