Counting unique values across an array

I work with serialized parts. When something goes wrong with a group of parts, I must list all the affected serial numbers. There are several different things that can go wrong so in a single sheet, I list the problem and then the affected serial numbers.

I need to be able to look across the entire population of data and retrieve a count of the number of unique serial numbers.

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

As an addendum to this post, if the result could also include a number of instances a given SN is present in the array that would also be beneficial.

=SUMPRODUCT((B2:CQ25<>"")/COUNTIF(B2:CQ25,B2:CQ25&""))
