Count et All

Hi, I have a second question with counting the occurrences of cell content. In Cells A1 and B1 I have the following:

A1:

ZCXH0-MOTHER-APPLEPIE​

BVDS0-FATERS_HELIPORT​

B1:

HCXH0-MOTHER-CAMERIO
BVDS0-FATERS_PEAPOD
BVZF0-TERSIS_CALOLI​

As you can see, there are 5 lines in the 2 cells. I am trying to count the number of occurrences in these 2 cells so the the results of the count is 5. Is that possible?

Nothing appears in the cells five times with the data you have posted.
How are you going to all ways make sure you get a count of five?

Hi,

If you want to count the "occurrences" in cell then check this approach.

=SUMPRODUCT(LEN(A1:B1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1:B1,CHAR(10),""))+1)
