copy a particular merged field (contract no) in PDF to excel

I want to automate the copying process of contract number present in pdf file of 27000 letter each letters is of 2 pages.....


the contract no. is present in 1 page, 3 page and so on.....


i want to copy it in the same sequence as of pdf pasted into excel in a column ( populate)


and it be ok...

Firstly welcome to the Chandoo.org Forums.


You should be able to use an Adobe technology called Forms Data Format to read the values using some VBA

I've only ever seen it referred to here: http://www.excelhero.com/blog/2010/04/excel-acrobat-pdf-form-filler.html

But have a look on the web, there should be other soures of info.
