Conditional formatting range is altered after refreshing pivot table

In the attached file, I have conditional formatting applied across all columns. When I refresh the pivot table the CF is no longer applied across all columns. It is then applied only to the first column.

Seems like any values in the "Rows" field of the PivotTable Fields window retains CF. Whereas any columns that contain values that appear in the PivotTable window called "Values" lose the CF.

How can I retain the CF so that it still applies across all columns even after I refresh the pivot table?

Use TWO conditional formatting...
1st for A-column and
2nd for B:E-columns
with same formula.

Interesting solution. It worked.

For other people: To get the correct reference where the CF should apply to, first you have to have the cursor on one of the numerical values.
