Compute amount based on 2 variables

Hello Gurus,

I am trying to calculate the amount in journal tab highlighted in green based on 2 variables that are in 2 different tabs (amt tab and hours tab)

Example: I got the amount $68,063.14 by taking 16 hours/ 63 hours times $267,998.64

I tried using the below formula but I am getting an error.

VLOOKUP(I2,hours,2,0)/SUM(hours[Quantity])*VLOOKUP(F2,amt,2,0)


Please help solve this issue. Really appreciate all your help

Try use this formula instead to obtain the amount of 68,063.14

=SUMIF(hours!B:B,I2,hours!D:D)/SUM(hours[Quantity])*VLOOKUP(F2,amt,2,0)
