I am looking for ideas on how best to present the following data:
over 200 employees
6 different degree types: HS; GED; Associates; Bachelors; Masters; PHD
47 different fields (of study): Accounting; Biology; Math; etc.
I plan on showing a bar chart that details number of degrees: Masters, Associates, etc .
I plan on showing a pie chart that details number of fields - this might require more than one pie but...
I would like to have a chart that details degrees by field of study: Accounting: 1 bachelors, 4 Masters; Biology: 1 Associates, 2 Bachelors, 6 Masters, 10 PhDs,; etc. But, what kind of chart? A bar chart? A pie chart?
I believe each of the displays of data will require multiple charts because putting all that data in 3 charts might be to busy.
The charts will be created in Excel 2010 and then shown in Powerpoint.
Any ideas for the above three displays of data is appreciated.
