Cell locked - Diffrenet users

Is it possible to lock a cell for a particular user.

Our requirement in a work sheet more user will be used , but particular cell need to be protected against different users

You could use VBA to protect certain cells, so maybe ask for a name on the user openeing the workbook and then looking up a table of cells that should be blocked and block them accordingly.

If you are using Excel 2007, you can select ranges for input based on the password.


Under the Review Tab, pick "Allow User to Edit Ranges" you can then add s eries of ranges with their respective passwords.
