Autopopulate rows

Hi guys,

My first post on chandoo.org....

My name is mayank and im from noida.


I need following help....

I need to auto populate rows in excel starting from 1 and equal to the figure of my choice.

Ex. if figure of my choice in A1=10 then A2:A11 should auto populate with nos. from 1 to 10

You could put this in A2

=IF(ROW()-1>$A$1,"",$A$1-($A$1-ROW()+1))

and copy down as far as you need
