Automatically Error Showing the message

Hi Friends,

I need your help.Actually we have one excel sheets. Column 'A' and Column 'B' is mandatory column. but Column 'B' user enter the information automatically showing the error message box. we should not use the button or shortcut key.

Have You tried to use 'Data Validation' with column-B?
If would show message box without any macros.
Or
It would be more clear if You could create a SAMPLE file and upload it here.

Hi Vletm,

Thanks for your response.No, i don't want data validation concept.i just need 'B' Column we enter the information something the same row 'A' Column is empty that time we need error message. like this Please fill the 'A' Column

As You are asking in Excel-forum,
next possible would be to protect Your column-B.
Then cannot even select that column ... and as well as no need to get any messages.
Why to let users do something, if You can prevent that?
